IT’S HERE!

Choice: Book Three of The Traveller's Path, is NOW AVAILABLE!

It’s finally here. The Traveller’s Path trilogy is complete with the launch of Choice: Book Three of the Traveller’s Path!

It’s been a long time coming, with many ups and downs, but I can finally say all three books in the trilogy are complete. Phew.

I’m really proud of this one. I put a lot of work into the revision of this book and I truly believe it is the best book yet. I’m really happy about that. I want to deliver a great reading experience for my readers, and so I’m glad I can look at the book and see that I’ve done my best to do that.

In this book, my main character, Thomas, is stretched in new and challenging ways. He gets forced out of Bebbanburg and Lindisfarne and into Dàl Riata, an Irish kingdom whose influence is waning. Old alliances are broken and new ones are forged as Thomas desperately tries to figure out how the Unseelie Traveller, Wulfram, is going to change history in order to ensure the supremacy of the Fey in the future. He knows he has to stop Wulfram’s plan, but how, when his friends are falling away and he is still so uncertain of his own wilding Fey powers.

It all comes down to an impossible choice: save the world at a terrible cost or sweep away all that is good.

Loch Earn, one of the important places in the book. Why? Read it to find out!

It was fun to travel with Thomas and delve into the history of Dál Riata. I now have a bunch more places to visit if I ever get to the U.K. again! I spent quite a bit of time on Google Earth, peering down at lochs and roads, using street view to wander down the same paths that Thomas travels along and making some fun discoveries along the way that I include in the book.

Now that the flurry of revision and publication is over, I can take a deep breath. I’m going to catch up with some reading and start to put some meat on the bones of a story I hope will blossom into the next book.

But I won’t forget this trilogy! I am toying with the idea of doing a Kickstarter to fund some fun enhancements to the books. Like a hardcover box set with fancy new covers, and an audio book version of the books. Let me know what you think of these ideas, or if you have other suggestions!

I’ll keep you posted on that. In the meantime, I want to say thank you once again to all those who have followed this journey and cheered me on, and who buy and recommend my books.

As always, I would really appreciate a review for the book on whatever retail site you purchase it on, and/or on Goodreads. Reviews really make a huge difference in getting the book seen by potential buyers on the various sites. It’s especially crucial in the first month after a new release.

As always, I value your feedback. You can reach me at info@lasmithwriter.com. Drop me a line and let me know what you think of Choice! I’d love to hear from you!
